CHIEFTAINCY TITLE: G20 Delta, Felicitates With Esiovwa
A pan Delta political group, G20 Delta, has felicitated with their National Coordinator, Hon. (Sir) Isaiah Esiovwa and wife, Mrs Mercy Esiovwa, for the conferment of chieftaincy titles, Odogenrenren and Ohovwore respectively, by His Royal Majesty, Maj. Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd), Orhue 1, CFR, mni, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom.
The secretary of the group, Mr Freeborn Eghagha, said in a statement that; ” the titles bestowed on the Okpe Council boss and his wife, are well deserved, in fact, it’s over due. This is because, Hon. Esiovwa has served the kingdom in several capacities, including Osubi community chairman and presently Okpe council chairman”.
Mr Eghagha, who is also the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, further said “on behalf of G20 Delta, I congratulate our amiable National Coordinator and his wife, and also express our profound gratitude to our highly revered monarch, the Orodje of Okpe for finding the Esiovwas worthy of the prestigious royal honour”.
By the tradition of the Okpe people, the title is celebrated seven days.
