Aniocha South PFN inaugurates member officers as Chukwunwike urges Christian leaders to live exemplary lives

The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has advised Christian leaders to be worthy examples of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

He gave the charge at Ogwashi-Uku on Wednesday while attending the inaugural meeting of the newly elected officers of the Aniocha South wing of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) at Light and Life Christian Assembly.

The council chairman who was ably represented by the Information Officer of the Local Government, Mr. Sammy Okonta, charged the PFN officers to champion the cause of Christianity in Aniocha South in a manner that will exalt the name of God.

He noted that the best sermon is a good example, stressing that people are more interested in a preacher’s character than his words.

Similarly, while urging the new officers to strive to make a difference, Senior Apostle (Dr.) Stephen Edremoda said that loyalty, respect and faithfulness to constituted authority are essentials for success in stewardship.

“To succeed in leadership you must be conscious of leadership structure ahead of you. Find a way to relate with leadership. Make extra sacrifice especially financial sacrifice to ensure that money doesn’t frustrate your goals. Your followers shouldn’t put in more than you their leader”, the clergyman said.

Speaking further, he said that the importance of depending God cannot be over emphasised.

“Prayerfully carry out your assignment. When the Holy Spirit is involved, He will show you ways to go about it.
Leadership is a responsibility, not a title – a good leader must be responsible to God, the institution that appointed him and equally responsible to the people he leads”, he added.
