Ashama monarch urges Chukwunwike to seek reelection, pledges support

The Obi of Ashama kingdom, His Royal Highness Obi Solomon Ezechiyelugo II, has urged Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, to seek reelection as chairman, pledging his support and that his subjects.

The monarch said Chukwunwike’s sterling performance and achievements have made it imperative for him complete all that he has started by going for a second term.

In an interview with newsmen on Tuesday in company of the vice chairman, Hon. Amaka Adigwe, at his palace, Obi Ezechiyelugo II said the people of Ashama kingdom are in support of the Chukwunwike-led government, stressing that they appreciate what he is doing.

His words: “We are in support of your government and we appreciate everything that you have been doing for us.

“He has earned the support of the traditional institution in Aniocha South. We have prayed for him and I know that our prayers are working. Tell him that we are for him anytime. Tell him that he should not be afraid of anything. We are for him. In Ashama, we give bloc votes and we are for the Peoples Democratic Party. He should go for a second term. He has done well and deserves it”, the royal father said.
